Where is your denim produced and what wash techniques do you offer?

We partner with Zhongshan KAIFENG Fashion Co., Ltd. — a specialized denim manufacturer in Guangdong, less than 30 minutes from our Zhongshan office. Our proximity means weekly on-site visits for QC, sample review, and production monitoring. We offer 15+ wash techniques including vintage wash, acid wash, stone wash, enzyme wash, whiskering, hand-sanding, laser distressing, and PP spray. Custom wash development is fully supported — send us your reference sample. Weekly on-site QC visits.

What certifications should a denim washing factory hold for international export?

A reputable denim laundry serving export markets should hold the following. We coordinate with our partner factory to confirm and verify all certifications before production:

Environmental & Chemical Management (most critical for washing):
ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) — the global standard for wastewater and chemical management in textile processing. Most EU and US brands mandate ZDHC compliance from their laundries.
ISO 14001 — environmental management system certification. Required by many brand audit protocols.
REACH — EU regulation (EC 1907/2006) on chemical substances. Mandatory for any garment exported to the EU.
Bluesign — certifies responsible chemical, water, and energy use. Widely recognized premium sustainability standard.

Chemical Safety:
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — certifies that every component of the finished garment (fabric, thread, buttons, labels) is free from harmful substances. The most recognized consumer-facing textile safety label globally.
OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT — certifies that the specific chemicals, enzymes, and auxiliaries used in washing are human-ecologically safe.

Social Compliance & Labor:
BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) — widely adopted in China, covering working hours, wages, safety, and no forced/child labor.
WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) — global social compliance certification recognized by US and EU buyers.
SA8000 — the most rigorous social accountability standard, covering all ILO conventions.

Organic & Specialty (if applicable):
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) — required if processing organic cotton denim or garments.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard) — required if using recycled-content denim or trims.

We coordinate with our partner factory to confirm which certifications they hold, collect valid certificates, and verify they match your destination market requirements before production begins. Factory audit and certification check.

Can you handle full OEM — from fabric sourcing to branded packaging?

Yes. Full turnkey service: raw denim and fabric sourcing (selvedge, stretch, organic cotton), pattern making and grading against your tech pack, sample development with fit approval, bulk production with inline QC, wash and finishing, custom labeling (woven labels, hang tags, care labels), and branded packaging. We also offer FOB export with all customs documentation. Provide your design — we handle the rest.
