Our team was on the ground at the 34th edition of the China International Beauty Expo (CIBE 2026) at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou from 4 to 6 September 2026. Held across halls 9.2 through 13.2 of the venue, this autumn session is the longest-running beauty trade fair in Asia, and the 2026 edition once again set the pace for skincare, color cosmetics, personal care, OEM/ODM manufacturing, beauty tech, and cross-border sourcing across the Chinese beauty market.
Key Highlights:
- 34th edition, full house: CIBE 2026 returned to the Canton Fair Complex with the full hall footprint (9.2 to 13.2) booked by Chinese and international beauty brands, OEMs, packaging suppliers, and ingredient houses.
- Spot-light ingredient trends: Whitening, anti-spotting, sensitive-skin repair, anti-aging, and skin-barrier products dominated the headline banners, echoing the FRECKLE / spot removal positioning that took over the central hall ceiling.
- Personal care and OEM scale: OEM/ODM pavilions spanned multiple halls, giving overseas buyers a single venue to compare Chinese manufacturing capacity, private-label minimums, and regulatory support for FDA, EU, and ASEAN markets.
- Beauty tech and devices: Home-use beauty devices, LED masks, microcurrent tools, and AI skin-analysis platforms were the standout categories, with several booths running live demos throughout all three days.
On the Show Floor
Walking the central concourse between halls 9.2 and 13.2, the traffic was noticeably heavier than the 2025 autumn edition, with international buyers returning from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. The dominant visual theme this year was spot-care and skin-barrier repair, alongside the now-perennial private-label, OEM/ODM, and beauty-device offerings. We met several long-term partners and shortlisted new factories for follow-up on private-label skincare and home-use device projects heading into Q4 2026.
